How to Opt In
1. Open Manage Account
In your WordPress dashboard, go to the IdeaWP plugin and click Manage Account.
2. Join the Beta Program
On the Account Details page, scroll down to the Version section.
You’ll see a Join the Beta program checkbox. Check this box to opt in.
Once enabled, your site will be eligible to receive beta versions of the plugin.
What happens after you join?
After opting in, beta releases may become available through the normal WordPress plugin update process.
Beta versions can include:
- New features that are still being tested
- Improvements and changes that haven’t been released publicly yet
- Bug fixes and other experimental updates
Because beta releases are still under testing, we recommend using them on staging or development sites whenever possible, rather than on a production site.
How to Leave the Beta Program
If you no longer want to receive beta releases, simply return to:
IdeaWP → Manage Account → Account Details
and uncheck “Join the Beta program.”
You can then continue using the regular stable releases.
Note: Beta releases are provided for testing purposes and may contain bugs or unfinished changes. If you encounter an issue with a beta version, please report it to the IdeaWP support team.
